From the outside, web development can look like:
š» Sit down
āØļø Write code
š Launch website
Reality?
It’s more like:
ā Start with one task.
šØ Notice something in the design that needs changing.
š± Test the mobile version.
š Find a bug that wasn’t there yesterday.
š Investigate why something isn’t behaving properly.
š© Reply to a client.
š§ Rethink an entire section.
ā” Optimize something that is technically āworking.ā
š Test it again.
š
Fix something else that broke because you fixed the first thing.
And eventually…
It works.
That’s the part I love.
Not just building things.
Figuring things out.
Every project brings a different puzzle.
And that’s what keeps the work interesting.
To every developer working through a difficult project this weekend:
You’re probably closer than you think.
Keep going.
