𝗜 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲

Sounds strange coming from a web developer, right?

But I’ve learned something important:

Not every potential client is a good client.

If someone wants:

“A website that looks exactly like my competitor.”

That’s a red flag.

If the only question is:

“How cheap can you build it?”

Another red flag.

If they want 25 features but can’t explain what the website needs to accomplish…

That’s a problem too.

The best projects I’ve worked on usually start differently.

The client has a business problem.

They explain it.

We figure out what the website needs to do.

Then we build the right solution.

That’s the kind of work I want more of.

Not more websites.

Better projects.

And honestly, I think learning to say “this isn’t the right fit” is one of the most valuable skills a freelancer can develop.
